The Aspen mattress from Rest Assured is designed specifically for use with bedsteads that use a slatted base.

There is a tendency with conventional pocket mattresses when placed on slatted bases for the springs to start slipping through the slats, taking support way for the mattress.

However with the Rest Assured range of bedstead mattresses this does not happen. By using innovative protective bonded fillings the Rest Assured bedstead mattresses offer even support across the complete mattress as shown below.

The individual pocket springs provide independent support for each occupant, the independent sleeping zones minimise roll together and maximise comfort. Movement on one side of the mattress has minimal effect of the occupant on the other side of the mattress.

The Aspen Pocket mattresses is constructed with upto 1000 individual springs and offers a great balance between support, comfort and value for money. Additionally the Aspen mattress is hand tufted with strong side stitching, turning handles and breathe vents.

Traditional Pocket Springs:
Rest Assured take pride in the quality of their pocket springs. Each spring is precision engineered and wrapped individually in it's own soft cloth sleeve, which holds it at the optimum tension and allows the spring to move independtly. Rest Assured's pocket springs are held under tension for responsive support. The independent action of each spring create a personal sleeping zone while moulding more effectively to your individual body shape.

		Rest Assured Bedstead Pocket Mattress: The Rest Assured range of pocket sprung mattresses have an added layer of protective bonded fillings, creating a much stronger support for the springs to rest on. The rest Assured bedstead range of mattresses are your ideal partner for a slatted bed base.
		Standard Pocket Mattress: Normal pocket sprung mattresses when used with any slatted base such as a bedstead can create and uneven sleeping surface. The fillings used can settle between the slats creating an increasingly uncomfortable mattress and excessive wear and tear.

Delivery:

Delivery is free and will happen in approximately 4-5 weeks, Divan beds are delivered via a professional 2 man team to the room of your choice, mattresses are generally delivered to your door unless you request otherwise at the point of order. We will also call you in advance to book in a specific delivery day with an approximate time so you don't have to stay in all day.

Mattress Size Disclaimer

Due the way a mattress is constructed it is impossible to get the mattress the exact size, most manufacturers allow a variation tolerance of 2-3cm (1 Inch). This discrepancy is more pronounced in Pocket Sprung mattresses where the springs are independent of each other and can sometimes nestle together during transport and storage temporarily reducing the width or length. During use the springs will settle and the mattress will recover to it's original size within 6-8 weeks.
